Hi there,I got my first optical sound film.Now i have a problem.
Can anyone tell me way there is a large amount of hum on it.Any advice would be of a big help..Andy.

I always found optical sound on my GS1200 to be hummy and low even after I had the lamp adjusted. I just assumed the sound is very inferior to the magnetic track... maybe I'm wrong.

This strange, as I have had the hum on my magnetic track on my mag/op super 8 projector, and that doesn't help any does it? I hope your able to find it out Andrew, and opticals are a great fun collectible, as the sharpness of them is outstanding, (but be careful of the dreaded Eastman fade), and they do tend to be priced much lower than most features, as there isn't a widespread outcry for them these days.

However, I'm always amazed as I see new optical titles popping up all the time!
