I thought this would be fun... I have put a mobile phone video clip on this web site showing the Eumig 926GL Stereo machine running here. The clip can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiKGKyYyZ9Y I use this machine to check out used prints and were showing this recent purchase. We later watched That's Dancing which I like very much and only recently got a new print of. The video quality is limited to that of a mobile phone, but its fun...
Ill be taking clips to post here out and about, so keep your eyes open for more. Soon I will post a 9.5mm sound projector running. Happy days!

Hi. Yes the motor system on the 940 is very quiet indeed and within my collection I would say it is my fave projector. The machine has a two teeth claw, wide degree shutter blades (an idea pinched from Noris I expect)and what with the decent lens, 150 watt lamp and good amp I do like using the 940.
Now then...9.5mm. I have posted a 9.5mm sound film clip which shows my hero Steve the Horse. All six of the Roland Davies cartoons (made in the 30's in a garage for the best part) can be found on 9.5 sound film. They are basic, but quite charming I think. The mobile does the quality no justice, but a little peek at what can be found on 9~5. Watch this space for a demo of a 9.5mm sound projector.

Hi Lee, Steve the Horse was great. Can you give us a 'Tour' of a 9.5mm sound projector?

Yup.. I will be doing the 9~5 sound demo next but it may be a day or two as I have quite a bit of work on at present here. For those who have never seen 9.5mm sound film projected you are in for a treat. Best wishes all..

Steve the Horse is fantastic.
Lee I noticed on your link that Steve the Horse is available on DVD from Group 9.5 I also noticed that Group 9.5 has a cine convention once a year in Harpenden, this year it is on Sunday 23rd September in the public halls. Great news for me as this venue is three miles from where I live. Looks like I may become one of the newest members.
As for a nice 9.5 projector, this will be taken care of at the BFCC this May.

Great news...I also have DVD'S of the Steve the Horse cartoons should it be of help to members of the Forum. Mail me direct for details as I do have these in stock.
Well here is the mobile phone video clip of a modern 9.5mm optical sound projector for you to have a look at. Rather than just watching it running I have also given a little info about its workings and 9~5 in general. Enjoy..

Those were great little films Lee, there's something special about watching a cine projector in action; it brings out the little boy in us all .
Thanks for going to the trouble to make them and post.

Thanks for the message. And to wind up here is "The Terminator vs the Fuji SD Auto" mobile video clip. www.youtube.com/watch?v=aK7OvfCc7YU
We only collected The Terminator last night on a 100+ miles round trip to collect. It was very late when we got back, but with some friends nearby that wanted to see it on super 8 invitations went out and the show ended at 2AM! But not before watching George Formby in the 400ft Derann film "Spare a Copper". Im a big Formby fan so it brought the show to a good end, and everyone went home very happy...
