Could this be some sort of record final bid for 600ft of home movie footage;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006 &sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=160092457623&rd=1&rd=1

Obviously the subject matter is of great interest to the buyer and clearly at least one other bidder. This seller is selling off a series of these movies, it appears he has a gold dust on his hands. Good luck to him.

I knew railway enthusiasts were a keen bunch but it is heartening to see that it's not just us cinephiles who are passionate about their hobby! [Smile]

Hi Mike. It prob went to a video company as we have also got hold of am footage to use in the past for a special interest video.

Tonight I am out to show a evening of railway films and its a sellout. All films are on super 8mm and many also turn out for the good old film show experience. Nostalgia is the key factor I think. Wish me luck, and the Eumig!
