Can anyone tell me about this camera and if possible where i can find some information on it or maybe a copy of the camera's instructions?

Of course the technical details differ a lot. But since it's one of the predecessor of your camera, some features should be operated the same way, e.g. "lap dissolve", ... . Hence it should be "better than nothing".
