Hey All,

I tried cleaning the two heads and the ruber roller on my elmo st 800 With alchol. They were all really dirty. Comming back from being fixed was not cool. The sound has improved some. Any furthur thoughts. When I turn up the volume, it sounds tiny in the highs.

Hi Brad,

Have you tried the old "tap the record button" trick? (power off first!) In the worst case at least it costs nothing to try it.

I understand you were short-changed a takeup reel.
