4th International NOMOS Super 8 Film Prize 2007

Eight rules:

1. Shoot on Super 8.
2. In color or black & white.
3. With or without sound.
4. Keep it under 8 minutes.
5. Your topic is all right with us.
6. Send in the original film or a DVD.
7. Submit your work by October 15, 2007.
8. By entering you grant us permission to publish your film on the Internet and on DVD.

Eight prizes:

1. a NOMOS Tangente Super 8 (value: €870) and €500 cash
2. a NOMOS Tangente Super 8 (value: €870)
3. two NOMOS Tangente Super 8 (value: €870 each) as NOMOS INTERNATIONAL AWARDS for the two best international entries
4. a €250 gift certificate from Wittner Cinetec
5. 20 Kodak Ektachrome 64 T
6. a €150 gift certificate from Wittner Cinetec
7. 10 Kodak Ektachrome 64 T
8. a one year subscription to schmalfilm or smallformat

The jury:

A professional jury will decide the prizewinners at the end of October 2007. The jury’s decision is final.

The award presentation:

In November 2007 at the Babylon cinema in Berlin - associated with a film fair.

Juergen,

Does the final product have to be a physical Super 8 positive print?

By that I mean can I shoot on Super 8mm, transfer to video, edit and dub in video, deliver you a DVD but never actually cut the Super 8 film?

Yes, you can! Most of the films come on DVD.
