Hi, folks. I have a Elmo ST-180E projector that I purchased in 1980 and it failed not long afterward. My dealer went out of business too, leaving me without access to parts necessary to restore the machine. A hectic work schedule prevented me from pursuing repairs but now, I am retired so I would appreciate any help and advice you can offer. The machine is in brand new condition, only requiring both drive belts to get started on my restoration project. Thanks, Glen Radley

Hi Geln, Welcome to the forum and I hope you find it interesting and are able to contiribute from time to time. You will find loads of great people on here with help on virtually all aspects of film collecting.
A quick search on "Elmo Belts" or the like within eBay should bring up loads of sellers with these belts.
Kev.

Just a question? I have heard of cases of new belts, after being fitted failing on 16mm projectors due to the belts themselves "ageing", some have a shelf life and how they are stored temperature wise etc seems to be important. considering the age of many projectors and if its old stock could this in itself be a problem.?
