Dont know if anybody is interested by Mark Silvester who used to do the Silvo Screen forum has created a disc with ALL the Bill Davidsons Bootlace Cinema articles that used to be in Movie Maker, plus as well their are loads of 8mm catalogues including Derann, Walton , U* etc (I lent Mark these from my collection)
The disc is really good for nostalgia and brings back memories.

Hello David

This is good news, they are great reviews. Like you though I seem to remember Mark saying that this would be a Silvo Screen Forum only offer, if that remains the case I would happily burn discs of all Bill Davisons reviews for 8mm forum members as I now have them all scanned.

For those that are interested I could add all the equipment reviews (1968 – 1985) to the same disc in a separate folder. All I would need would be for members to send me a disc in the post with an SAE and I’ll burn the folders to it and send it back.

Mike

If anybody would like a copy of the disc which contains all the Bill Davidsons Bootlace Cinemas plus lots of 8mm catalogues inc Derann, Marketing, Walton plus more and a load of film posters, I would say their are literely hundreds of posters.

Please get in touch with Mark Silvester at marksilvester81@msn.com

The cost is £10 and this is for a limited print run.
