Hi, are there any copies made of 'Saturday Night Fever' on a low fade stock. All the copies I have seen, full length and cutdown, have some fade in them. Was it only released by Marketing?

I had a beautiful print of the full length feature of Saturday Night Fever (purchased in '79) from Marketing. I sold it in the late 80's, and it still looked nice at that time.

I think one of the problems with this film is that, many of the scenes were shot with alot of red. Mostly all of the disco scenes had a red look, even when the print was new, and on the DVD's as well. So, I would imagine that this film may suffer from turning red faster than others.

James.

Thanks for that reply. Ive often felt myself that this is one film that dosent matter too much if the print is a bit pink because it dosent notice too much in the disco scenes and the print that I have still also has strong blues.

But it would still be nice if this title was still printed in the 90's but I dont think it was.
