I'm getting a muffled sound from my projector and is even mimicing the sound of the shutter. I have an Elmo ST1200HD. What could that be?

Hi Larry,

What you are probably hearing is the failure of the loop and pinch roller/flywheel to completely smooth out the intermittant motion of the film through the shutter as it passes the soundhead.

Doesn't sound like there's a real cure:
