Quick question -- what's the best way to store films -- horizontal or vertical?

I find that especially with a feature of multiple reels in the same box, the bottom reel can get warped from the weight all of the other reels sitting on top of it, so I say vertical.

This probably applies to card boxes of single reels once they are stacked high enough as well.

-Gepes or Bonums: not so much.

Yet Murphy's law dictates that the film you want will be at the bottom of the pile anyway, which means you'll wind up with films all over the floor.

-once again: Vertical!
