Here i am, 42 on the 7th, and hoping to find some more optical sound tidbits, (as I've pretty much collected everything in mag sound that I wanted.)
I'd just love to have my one dream come true ...
To start a new american super 8mm film company. Yep, you see ...
I win the lottery. i choose the "Pay it all to me now' option, then take a sizable chunk of that ...
and blow it on finding the best still existing Super 8mm film production equipment, including being aboe to stipe ect. and do EVERYTHING in house ...
Then get the word out to collectors to bring in thier available negatives of what they want on Super 8mm, and if they have the money for the cost of the film, it would just be a little above that to get i to the consumer,
... as well as get some actor/direcor that is totally into film preservation, (and hating digital) to get on the bandwagon and get major Hollywood releases out on Super 8mm!
Thre's that major Super 8 dream!!
