My Eumig 926 does sound like it is getting a little dry, and so what is the proper lubricant for my Eumig, and where exactly would I apply lubricant?

I no longer have my manual.

Osi, apply white lithium grease to the gears. You can purchase a small tube at a hardware store.

Steve Osborne at Reel Image sells an excellent lubricant...molylube. Works great on my elmo's.
