Hi chaps,

Wonder if any one can help me out on this, i am after a motor for a Chinon 7500. It sees the motor gets very hot to touch with in a space of just a few seconds and then completely stops.

So i am on the look out for a suitable replacement that could do the job. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Robert,

I have a couple of motors for the Chinon 7500 but I am on this side of the lake. I can send you one for the shipping cost.

If interested, you can send me an email to: jaddams55 at hotmail dot com.

I am away until June 15 but I can ship as soon as I return.

Jon

Jon,
I've always wondered what Americans call the Atlantic Ocean; now I know. Is it just that Americans are so used to refering to all things American as the biggest in the world, so the Atlantic is "just a lake"?
When I was young, the name used over here was "the herring pond", and if I recall correctly Alistair Cooke always used to use that name in his celebrated broadcasts..."Letter from America"

Hello Martin,

I am sorry for giving the wrong impression about Americans calling the Atlantic a “Lake” as the unofficial name appears to be “Pond.” I’ve always called it a lake because a pond is much smaller than a lake, in fact one can have a little pond in the backyard, but not a lake.

I am actually from your side of the lake being born a “Jordie,” my family left Newcastle for America many years ago when I was only 10. I still visit every couple of years or so as I have family in Newscastle and Aldershot in Hampshire County.

Regards,

Jon

Alistair Cooke was a cine enthusiast. Upon his death they found loads of Standard 8 films in the basement of his apartment block.
