Maurizio is exactly right. With the coaxial Eumigs, which have no feed sprocket, you really have to give the film a firm push to grab the claw. Nothing you can adjust out Simon, it's just the design of the projector. Incidentally, on my 926 stereo I noticed that the removeable clear plastic film guide ,at the top front of the projector, had some really sharp edges on it, so I smoothed them down with some fine sandpaper, and polished them up. It's very important on the 926 to keep that whole feed chanel area, including those tiny rollers and the flapping roller, spotlessly clean, in order to avoid fine scratches. On my 926 I have the most problem when projecting 600ft reels, which results in jerking of the feed spool towards the tail end of the reel. 200 and 400ft reels seem to work fine. So I added 2 extra rollers to the machine, which really reduces the film thrashing between the feed spool and the projector's input roller:
The only problem with this mod is that you can no longer rewind the film on the projector.
