Hello Jose. I cannot tell what the stock was used all those years ago but from my personal collecting experience it is likely that the film will have colour fade. I have had three prints of this title and all have had "fade" - some worse than others. The editing on the Derann version is quite good and captures the story quite well.

It is quite a good film, telling the story of the Alamo from Jim Bowie perspective, rather than Davy Crockett. The sets used by the producer, Herbert Yates, were initially built for John Wayne's first attempt at filming the Alamo. Republic and Wayne had a big "falling out" and the film was never made.

Wayne finally made his version of "The Alamo" in 1960 and it is one of my favourite films.

Now that's a title I would like to get on Super 8. [Smile]
