Does anyone have advice on how to tighten up the framing control knob on an Elmo ST1200HD? The frame slowly slips that I have to slightly adjust it a few times during a reel. This is the first time I had this problem. I see there are a few different screws involved, so I thought i'd ask before messing with it. Thanks! [Smile]

I would like to suggest following steps first.
Put some grease on brass thread (other end of framer axle, take rear cover off) for damping.
If you need more damping, there is a triangle shaped leaf spring - underneath proj.-bulb - held with one screw, which puts some force on axle of framer knob.
Take it out and bend it a bit more to achieve higher friction on side of axle. (search for breaks - around screwhead - on leaf spring)
In most cases you have solved the problem, now.
If not, will advice you on further adjustment.
