Hey guys! I'm near finally completing my repair on my Chinon 9500!

After an even closder inspection, I found that the claw and pins were not broken or missing at all. I then noticed, when I held down (gently) the "loop creator" before the film gate, that I got my picture back.

I therefore conclude that the whole problem was that this "loop creator" is mis-aligned. I looked all over and I couldn't find a screw that holds this in place, so I'm curious as to how to do this repiar, but at least I'm pretty close to having my Chinon back up and running!

Osi, if you could provide some photos that would help. Buy that USB wire and plug it in. You can find them on eBay for a couple of bucks.
