My GS1200'S seem to spill an awful lot of light onto the ceiling, so I want to make a light baffle that will bolt onto the hinged lamphouse cover. I know the GS1200 XENON version has such a baffle, so I am wondering if Kev or anyone with a Xenon could post a couple of pics of the light baffle so I can design up something almost identical.

How do I upload an image here? Also I tried contacting you via email but unsuccessfully...

If still interested, contact me via email and I'll reply with an attached picture of the light baffle.

Cheers.

Hi, I finally succeded to upload the image requested, but I am afraid given the size/dimensions constraints it will be of little use.

Anyway this is it:
 -

The baffle is the darker structure which is simply screwed to the regular grid of the side cover; to be honest there is indeed some light spills anyway...

Hi Paul, I had the same frustration with my Elmo and Eumig projectors. My solution was to make sure this house had a projection room! No projector noise and no light leakage.

The light shielding has always been so much better in 16mm projectors, have you noticed?
