Christmas started early for me today, as my Elmo ST-600M finally arrived in the mail! It became mine for the amazing sum of 120kr (about £12 or 20$) but has it flaws, albeit minor ones that I can easily fix. Hopefully I'll have the projetor up and running completely without cracking a £40 budget

Currently, it's full of dust and dustbunnies, missing a lamp, with old/worn belts (probably ruined), but the motor runs like clockwork! Now I'm looking forward to getting the lamp I ordered from Bart and get it up and running fully.

Hopefully I'll give it a full makeover tomorrow and clean it completely.

Will return with photos.

Update:
Discovered another issue, the speed knob/switch is broken [Frown] Good thing all my friends are electricians!

After a good rinse and proper cleaning of the entire machine, I removed the old bands, as they were ruined, so I need to replace these aswell.

Spare parts have all arrived now, will fix them up sometime on thursday as this is a very busy week for me, and hopefully I'll post some pictures from the test screening during the weekend [Smile]

Christian,

Congratulations, and keep at it. I think you will enjoy that machine. I had a chance to run one of those once, and it is a smooth performer when in shape.
Look forward to some pictures [Smile]

Claus.

New belts arrived today, installed them and voila: it's alive!

The amazing picture and sound nearly brought me to tears.

I shall return with pictures!
