I just received an Ebay(Epray) bought item, Regular 8mm , DW Griffith-Intolerance. I noticed that on one of the reels it said, 'Tails R-6', yet I only received 5 reels. Does anyone on the forum own a Regular 8mm version of Intolerance and can tell me how many reels there are. My reels that I received are each about 400 ft which would calculate to 2000 ft. I'm pretty sure I'm missing a reel but just wanted to double check with the forum here. Any help greatly appreciated.
{Apologeez for putting this in the wrong folder-should be in a different one}

yes you are right. that would mean for five reels there would have to be about 425 ft for each of the reels. I wrote to the person who sold me this film and he refunded all my money and told me to keep the film. There is honesty in this world after all.

As far as I knew Blackhawk was very often to spool the film more than 400 feet on the 7 inch reel (400' reel).
It can be seen that many L&H or Little Rascal has FTG 425 written on the side box which means it has 425 feet of film.
So, in this regards, you may have a complete reel. The reel 6 number can be taken from the 16mm negative which is not necessarily in accordance with 8mm length.
So after you screen those reels then you will know. And if you have a complete one, you are the lucky one... or...??
