Look closely at the cover photo on the stooges boxes for the 400'ers from the mid to late 70s (before Columbia went with comic book cover art) with the violet background - canary lettering - and a photo of the boys. Is it me or do the faces in the photo look like they could be look-a-likes. I've never seen a still of Moe with his bangs tussled. Larry's face doesn't quite look like the Larry from the shorts and the face of Curly is so obliterated with a pie type substance that it has always left me wondering. Has anyone else felt the same?

Not a mystery, publicity stills were/are used, that could be - This almost looks like one from HEAVENLY DAZE - The face of the middle actor is supposed to be a "general" one, it's whomever you would like to see there. Look carefully and it could be Curly, Shemp, even Joe B, (and a dubious regard even Curly-Joe) - A generic look for a generic box. It works - My nickel, Shorty

Could someone please post a scan of the photo in question? Thanks!
