Hi Winbert (and others) hope I haven't breached any protocol by posting as a new message! Further to yesterday - the two Super 8 projectors are a Chinon 9500, and a Sankyo 502. Apart from new lamps (which you already helped with) there are two specific problems. Chinon - the take up reel only turns intermittently - film can end up on the floor! Sankyo - Last film projected chewed up inside the transport. I removed obvious debris but now if I load a film (image pretty stable) sound is just a jarring wow and flutter. Any ideas? Other than that these guys lay dormant for may years and need a service that is beyond me. Regards and thanks for any tips.

Hello Guy. Sounds like your machines would need a thorough cleaning and some new belts.

Thanks Jean-Marc. Looks like the belts may be an issue.
