Did anyone ever produce a roll of super 8 that just says THE END all the way through? Not a fancy animated title to splice at the foot of a reel, just simply the text 'THE END' with no graphic illustration or animation.

I know you can get rolls of 'SCENE MISSING' or 'OPTICAL TO FIT' etc on 35mm. Just wondered if any text only reels were produced for super 8.

Actually I seem to remember Derann having things like this, as well as 50 foot rolls of countown leader for use at heads of films.

Such reels existed on 16mm but personally I've never seen one on 8, other than up to about 3 sold in short lengths. It wouldn't be difficult for someone to produce their own 50ft reel, though!

I don't know about "The End" but you can get the countdown leader off You Tube.
