New to this forum and 8mm film. Just picked up a Bell Howell 363 Super Autoload projector off of ebay thinking it was Super 8 but when I got it the sprockets appeared to match standard 8mm film. So after a liberal application of sewing machine oil to all the moving parts inside (was running too slow in forward prior to this) I loaded up a standard 8 reel and played it. Worked like a charm - pretty sweet for $9.99, of course I still need a Super 8. Just out of curiosity, was this named before Super 8 film came out or did someone at Bell Howell have a warped sense of humor?
