Hi, has anyone tried to replace the main drive belt in this machine? I think the belt in mine is slipping, causing it to slow down a little after running about 10 minutes. Thanks MIKE

Interesting - mine is slow on the first 10 minues of running and then it's fine... perhaps we both have the same belt problem but in reverse?! Let us know if your problem is fixed with just a little belt. I LOVE this machine and am hoping it is something minor.

Oops - read your post too fast... my Eumig with that issue is the 940...

Michael. It could be the two rubber discs seen in the front of the machine. It’s also worth cleaning these with a clean lint free cloth and some Isopropyl Alcohol as they do pick up dirt in use and can slip. Also clean the chrome drive wheel which will help make for trouble free drive. I doubt it will be the small drive belt although have changed one on a 940 which had stretched over time. It is a simple job to remove and replace this belt if taking ones time although fiddly.
