This evening I came across this photo of Keith Wilton which I took at the Ruislip BFCC in May. It shows Keith, in his trademark BFCC dinner suit, setting up his 35mm 'Sprokethole' projector at the rear of the Winston Churchill Hall auditorium. As I was looking at this it made me realize what a tremendous gratitude all film collectors owe to Keith. For more years than I care to remember Keith has hosted the BFCC, often under adverse and technically difficult conditions, and of course his Super 8 Film Review has been around almost since the start of packaged 8mm movies. This past weekend I received Keith's latest epic DVD From Cinecolor To Cinerama and as usual it was a professional quality production crammed with all the information that we film collectors love to digest. As you watch it you cannot help but notice the intense love that Keith has about all things cinema related. And you can only imagine the hundreds of hours that Keith put into compiling and editing this massive amount of material. So a big thank you to Keith from this film collector!
