Has anyone had any experiences with this projector?

Does it totally eat up fiulms, scratch them to hell or is actually fairly nice to films? I saw one in a thrift store for three dollars and I just wondered if I should snatch it up.

HI Osi

I have a 2 or 3 of them and they all worked fine for me. I forget the models. Think one was a 1288. If I remember correctly they were made by Ansco. For 3 bucks I would by it. It it ends up being crap sell it to me and I will fix it up like I do other projectors I buy.

Good idea. I'll pick it up tommrow. Be a great plus if it works OK to begin with.

I've owned one years ago and I liked it alot. It would sometimes bunch the film up during the auto-thread function so I would normally manually thread it. The belts I often replaced with big thick rubber bands and it still held up fine.
