Need information on value if any on recent find of 12 8mm Castle Films circa 1940 in original boxes. 10 years of News on Parade 1940 through 1950. Also #506 "revenge on the Range and a Paul Terry-toons "Rip Van Winkle". At this point am not ready to sell without more information, but am willing to sell if any true interest. Thanks

Hi Elizabeth, There is not much of a market for 8mm silent film. Most collectors prefer super 8 sound films, which did not appear until after 1962. I doubt that your films would be worth more than five or ten dollars each.

Those are probably silent films. If they are 200' films in good shape in original boxes about $ 5.00 to $ 10.00 each. A little less if they are the short '50 reels. Those are prices if you were able to find buyers for individual sells.
