Just picked up a eumig mark S 810 D that has no lamp. The sticker next to the lamp holder reads: 100 watts 12 volts.
However, there is no lamp number. HELP PLEASE !
Thanks -- Bruce

Bruce,

Congratulations on getting a great projector. That Eumig model takes an EFP bulb.

Bruce. Try to get the OSRAM A1/231 12v 100W lamp which is a very good quality type.

Paul: One lamp from LSE inc. (Light spectrum enterprises)
cost: 5.95 free shipping. Info: halogen 300 hrs. avg. life,
color temp. 3400K. One lamp from Bulbamerica cost: 7.29 plus
1.99 shipping. Info. osram A1/231 50 hrs. avg. life. Did not
provide color temp. Used two suppliers just to see if there
was a difference.

There will most definitely be a difference. The long life lamp will have a slightly dimmer and more yellowish color as compared to the impressive output of the 50-hr. bulb.

Or so I'm told. Hey Bruce, you can confirm if all the rumors are true! Please tell.
