Well not quite. The US restaurant chain Cracker Barrel is currently promoting some home cinema items in its Old Country Stores. We went to lunch at Cracker Barrel today, and I noticed several interesting items for sale such as, clapper boards, movie themed wall plaques, pillows etc. But the one that immediately caught my eye was a movie projector table lamp . Taking a closer look I realized that the projector model was a replica of the 9.5mm Pathe Lux! No doubt about it, the rear swinging lamp house, the drive motor and pulleys, spool arms, everything about it was just like the Lux! . Even the decal was in the right place, although the famous Pathe cockerel was absent. The lamp shade is orange with film strips printed on it – unfortunately NOT 9.5mm film . A great addition to any home cinema – price $29.99 at any roadside Cracker Barrel Old Country Store for a limited time only.
