The magazine is I suppose the replacement for Derann's 'Film For The Collector'. Now up to issue 3 it features full colour covers front & back lots of articles of film reviews. Keith Wilton writes in it. About 32 pages with a few advertisements.

Issue 1 had sold out a couple of months ago. Bit pricey, but at least we have a film mag.

It does need our support to help it survive.

a new cine magazine !!!
2012 saw the launch of "Film Collector".... a new magazine dedicated to all film formats, the cinema, buildings, art, etc etc. It IS part colour and include Keith Wiltons Super 8 Film review section. We carry free ads to subscribers and advertise all film events for free!
Subs are £17 a year - OR £4 a copy plus £1.70 postage
Free ads now being accepted, also trade ads - and we would love your articles an all things FILM.

Tim you can subscribe by emailing chcinema@aol.com or telephone classic home cinema on 01472291934 The mag has a colour glossy front cover, A4 size and full of good info. You can also just buy one issue to try as well.
Happy days!

Does Phil list any of his own films, or is it purely a magazine with various articles on the hobby?

I would say its general mix for film collecting. Classic do have adverts, as do other dealers, letters page reviews. Get in fast it only has a short print run at the moment. Issue 3 has 1 page look at scope on super 8. 13 pages super 8 film review by Keith Wilton. Plus a couple of other articles and a few advertisements. Like I said above its expensive, but a very specialised subject. I have subscribed to it £17 for 3 issues.
