Michael
I have had one Unit, which i Bought from the Widescreen Centre in London many years ago. I am still using it a lot today without the slightest problem I think they are great. They take up to 2400 feet reels, like Fumeo. Highly reccomended.

Thanks, Antonio.
Are 2400ft reels easily available?

Does anyone have a picture of the unit? I can't seem to locate one online anywhere.

Does anyone know if these can be used with a Bauer T610 and if so where they might be available still nowadays?

I would imagine on ebay or an ad as Spondon went out of business
some years ago. They made some useful ancillary equipment
for the enthusiast like swing brackets for 'scope lenses etc.

To be honest Andrew I don't know,but it's only a bracket that
would require a couple of holes at most to secure it to your
projector, or you could just have a free standing mount.I would
get it if I were you,as I think it will be cheaper than one from Wittners.

Hi Andrew, thanks for your very kind email,I tried to reply, but
can't get through, anyway it goes without saying that I'll keep
a look out for you(don't know if the unit on ebay is compatable
with 8mm) and will look out for Agfa or Bauer projectors in case
any crop up.

Michael

Paul Foster should be able to supply large spools.

As I recall, the Spondon looked something like a rewinder with the projector sitting in the middle to take the weight. The rear arm was motor driven.
