How is the cut suppose to look? I know my old ST-600 didn't make it look like this one does. The old ST-600 made a rounded corner cut, this one is crooked like this ... Normal or not?

Vidar, you want the rounded edge on the film, like a table knife,
not concave, but convex.

Uh, can't insert from under and up ... It's the lower cut I am talking about ...

 -

But that sounds like it should be the same as the ST-600 then ... Something is wrong with the cutter ... The plastic roller inside is not looking straight

The cut is never in the middle of a perf.

Are you putting one of the sprocket holes over the little peg in the trimmer?

This helps keep the film straight while you cut it.

As far as I know all the Elmos use the same trim. When I have my 'scope lens on one of my Elmos and it's blocking the trimmer, I just use the trimmer on another one.

Found and fixed the problem. The little pin controlling the film was loose and I got it in place and now it looks normal :-)

Thanks
