I was sure this was dual track, as you can record two tracks. I can not find a switch like the one _I had on my old ST-600, where you could change between track 1 or two or play both

Is it just me being blind (I almost am)?

Vidar, the ST1200D M/O is not a 2-Track machine. You need the HD for that, or one of the other models.

The double recording on the M/O is not for recording on the 2nd track. It is for recording sound on top of the sound that is already on your main stripe, without erasing the original sound. The normal rec. position is for recording on an empty/silent main soundtrack.

Ah, okay, thank you for that

So my best bet is to find a GS-800 then maybe

Later on, I will get a few more projectors. Which is the best to do re-recording on? I would like to find Mission Galactica and it looks easier in Germany
