I´m curious, just saw the auction on ebay:
Link to ebay
The color looks gorgeous like a technicolor print.
Are all the 8mm prints realy so good? I watched recently a blueray on a big screen at a friends home cinema, but it was not good as the screenshots of this S8 print.
Can anyone say more about the S8 print?
Thanks
Oemer

I have a Kempski print and it looks just like that. Don't know if that is a Kempski or Derann. You should ask.

The link says that it is Derann print struck from Kempinski negatives.

I once found another auction for the same title and the color is like that. So Kempinski Negative must be taken from 35mm.

Oemer...get it when you can! [Big Grin]

Oh no Winbert, I watched many years ago a LPP 35mm print and its looks also great and a friend of mine own a 70mm print (with perfect color, no fading) that we run last year on the big screen, and this is the way you have to see this movie.
I was disapointed from the blueray, ok it was very sharp but not like film and in compare of them, the S8 print looks much better.
Oemer

PS: I´m out of mony this time because I bought few weeks ago the S8 prints of Dracula prince of Darkniss (scope full feature) and James Bond OHMSS (German print).

I have a Kempski "WSS", and is fabulous! Was a mono print, and had my good friend, Lance Alspaugh, re-mix it from a digital source... amazning sound, combined with a great Scope image... my crowd was very pleased... and working it back in the lineup for next summer.
