Anybody in the Southeast US (or anywhere for that matter) interested in a Super 8 Day here in Atlanta?

I'm thinking of a one day event with a dealers room, small format screenings, sessions etc ...

I have friends who host CONS in the area often and know of some possible facilities to house the event. Also if you any idea or suggestions or would possibly like to help please post your comments or send me a PM.

I've been thinking about this for a while now, and some recent posts have sparked my interest again! [Smile]

I don't want to sound discouraging, but unless you know several film collectors in Georgia, it might be hard thing to kick off. Up in the Northeast there is a greater population concentration. I would support your event. I plan to be in Harlem, Georgia for the Oliver Hardy festival next year.

Yeah and I know Dan Lail attends that as well. Do you know the date of that off hand Guy?

Well, maybe the first Sunday in October would work well for this then! [Smile]

The only problem is this would, at times, conflict with the date of Cinesea in Wildwood.

Yeah-Don't want to do that. Besides CineSea sounds like a blast! Would like to hit that my-damn-self!
