The third type of Bolex cable release, code CLOVI(with the rubber cover or less, does not count), with Rexofader mounted, can works with single shot? It should be mounted in reverse, but the Rexofader forbids an easy maneuver.

Luigi, I have that cable release adapter but it does get in the way if you are using the Rexofader. You can rotate it to do continuous run or single frame. It will work with any Bolex H8 or H16 including the reflex models. I have used it with the Surefire Grip. There is also a cable release adapter that mounts over the front button of the H8 and H16 cameras that is not listed on the Bolex Collector web site. It's a little harder to find but they do come up on Ebay every now and then. Both of these cable releases adapters will work with any standard threaded cable release.

neither of them work with the pocket cameras like the C8, B8 and D8 models. They don't have the proper trigger to accommodate it.

I know the other adapter for side of camera (http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOLEX-BOXED-LONG-SELF-TIMER-RELEASE-CABLE-ACCESSORY-DEVICE-ATTACHMENT-H16-REFLEX-/151137299010?pt=Camera_Camcorder_Remotes&hash=item23307c2a42), but is impossible mount it together with the Rexofader, it not enters.
Instead, my and your adapter is meant to be mounted with the screw on the RIGHT, and the cable connected to the Right, for normal running. So you tell me that i can force a bit and also connect to the contrary, with the cable entering to the LEFT, even it touches a bit 'on the Rexofader?

I think you will have to remove the Rexofader for it to work in that position. The small lever at the bottom of the Rexofader will be in the way of using a cable release. If you are doing single frame shots you will not need the Rexofader.

Right, the only solution is to remove the Rexofader when using that cable, not comfortable but rightly does not serve the RX fader when using single shot.
Too bad, when i got it, i thought i could always be used together.

Bryan, do you know if the adapter should be placed in front of Bolex also allows you to use the single shot (not by pushing, but by pulling the button)?

Luigi, I'm not sure if it will work that way, I have never tried that. I think it needs to be flipped around for single frame use. They are easy to remove and flip around. Keep in mind there are two versions of this adapter. There is the older H Cable Release and the newer H-20 or H-40 Cable Release. You need the newer version so that it will work with your Rexofader.

Yes, i have the latest version of the cable (see image above), the one that goes well with the Rexofader, but, unfortunately, when turning it in the opposite direction does not fit well, so can not use the single shot, unless do not disassemble the Rexofader

I was wondering if the other versiono of cable, that connects to front and not at side of camera, allows the single shot.

I don't think it will do single shot Luigi, all it does is push the front button in.
