I don't know what this should be called, but a GS-1200 will have one turning knob on the back so we can adjust the position of the picture (either too much left or vice-versa).
But I don't see this feature in other Elmos.
I have a bit of OCD (Monk mode is on ) so if the picture has a bit leftish or rightish I would not enjoy the presentation. I then have to put a book on the left/right side to have a perfect picture.
Why Elmo (or other projectors) did not think to make this in all their products.

I assume you mean the levelling screwed knob on the rear foot, used to level the projector. Many projectors do have this function, but perhaps Elmo thought that the GS-1200 was its flagship and should have absolutely everything.

Maybe because a penny here and a penny there add up, and the guy that thought this was a good idea gave up on it as a compromise so he could get something else he wanted even more.
Maybe because you want somebody asking why they should pay extra for the top of the line machine to see all sorts of distinctive features, and this was one they decided to keep for the GS-1200.
I've very rarely found myself needing to level the beam against the screen masking, so sticking a magazine under one foot or the other has done the job on those few occasions.
