My splicer takes a pre perforated roll of tape, these are almost impossible to find now. Question if I use CIR tape is there a tool or something else I can use to punch out the sprocket holes?...

I use an Agfa f8S Automatic splicer and splice tapes are still available for these from e bay and a few other places. I dont know of any other tool for punching holes in CIR tape apart from a CIR splicer made for doing this job.

I assume Steve is referring to Fuji tape rolls which Fuji have discontinued manufacturing. Even when they were available the rolls were quite expensive.
The splicers are useless without their special tape, it is possible that the tapes were never made by anybody else which is quite unfortunate.

Yes Maurice it's similar to the Fuji, it's an ERNO S80...
