Hi I've just got a DVD from 8mm film recorded in 1969 & it's pinked , lost its colour, is there any way of restoring/ enhancing/ my DVD of this please

Does the original 8mm film have good colour? Was the transfer done by a professional company?

If it was shot on Kodachrome and has been stored properly, the colours should be almost pristine. Unless there were problems at the time of shooting and/or processing.
