Hi its actually for 16mm but I remember a few people mentioned a type of lens you can get cheaply for something to expand your lens image size.
For instance I have a 38mm eiki lens I would like to double so what are those lenses please and what should I look for.

Mark, The advent of Video cameras with relatively short zoom ranges led to a proliferation of Telephoto and Wide-angle attachments to extend those ranges.
They have expansion/contraction powers up to about 2:1 and are usually described as "camcorder wide angle attachment X 0.5" or similar. Such a 0.5 wide angle attachment placed in front of a projector lens reduces the focal length to half an expands the picture by 2X in each direction.
I'll dig through what I've got in my lens cupboard to see if i@v something you can try. Martin

Thanks Martin. I`g guess the front lens of the eiki 38mm lens is 40mm or so so maybe need one with around that rear element size.
Does anyone know the mm size inside the front eiki lens ring please.
Thanks Mark.
ps do you need to avoid or unscrew the macro some seem to have.

Mark, I've been working on this. The mm diameter for the Eiki lens ring is NOT matched by any camera attachments I've been able to find anywhere. However, a ring adapter might be possible. Or a quick-and-dirty holder getup might prove necessary. Hmmm... wonder if my kids will miss a couple of hundred Lego bricks and a "platform?"
Meanwhile, the other thread to see is this one, where I'm currently updating my story.
