hi All,

I'm looking for a capacitor to be replaced on a electronic circuit of my ELMO 16 Cl De Luxe.
It is a ceramic capacitor and it's characteristic is 104z 12 volt.

Any help?

Thanks
Flavio

Hello Flavio

Have a look at this Ebay item: 350876607171

Only £1.37 each so worth a try - rated at 16v not 12v though so maybe worth asking the seller for more info.

If they don't post to Italy let me know and I can buy the item and post to you.

Kevin

Hello Kevin

Many thanks for your help! [Smile]
I'm not really an expert in electronics but the one you suggested is quite different from the disc ceramic capacitor I see on the board, here below

 -

and I could have problem of space, because the one I should replace is placed between two ICs.

I read somewhere that 104z means 100nf (0.1uf) with z indicating the tolerance, but cannot find the value.

However the only caps I was able to find so far are 50 volts and not 12 volts. Can I use them instead?

Thanks
Flavio

Any voltage higher than 12v is perfectly all right, Flavio.

Many thanks Martin!

I will buy this 104 50v disc ceramic capacitor and will try if the board will start to work again...
