I acquired one of these minus the lens. It is in mint condition & I did intend to convert it to something else. Having now seen it in the flesh, it would be a shame to break it for another use. It is the model that uses 16mm film, which is run through twice then split after processing, if anyone has a lens, I would be interested, or anyone like to acquire this mint condition camera, let me know. It is complete with a leather hand grip spare film spool & an unexposed film, all offers considered, UK preferred.
Eric.

It seems that the Sportster camera uses a non-standard lens. Referring to a 1954 catalogue the lens is described as "Spigot (clip-on) fixing".

It was supplied with a T.T.H. f/2.5 universal focus lens for £52/0/2, and with a better lens, the T.T.H. f/1.4 focussing lens for £74/7/4.

The camera uses 25ft of double-eight film (16mm wide) which runs twice through the camera and then is split after processing and joined to provide 50ft of film for projection.
