If you take a close look there seems to be more than one film on that reel. This happened to me. I bought the Penguin's Christmas film and there was Jack Frost on the reel also. So this might be the case.

I have the 400ft version of Earthquke given to me as "freebie" from Phil at Classic for making a first visit in person to his shop. I have never seen or heard of a 200ft version of this film so I would say Larry's guess will more than likely be spot on.

There is a 100' version called 'The Destruction of LA' from Universal 8's Great Scenes Series. So maybe that is added on. Same footage though.

That last post there was interesting, as that would call for 600ft reel but as stated, seems a unnecessary without any different footage to be added to the digest.
Great effects in that film, by the way.

Although the 100ft film contains the same footage as the 400ft it could well be added as not everybody thinks like us, true super 8 collectors. In fact there could even be a Tom and Jerry added who knows because the seller cannot project the film properly and the previous owner might even have purchased the film like that and left it as it was, you have no idea.
One to steer clear of in my opinion and wait for a good copy from the dealers still trading.

It looks to me like at least three different films on one reel. Maybe in addition to the 100' Destruction of LA there might be some other Universal 8 100 series films (like the complete Psycho murder scene...but don't hold me to that). If someone purchases this, be sure to let us know which films were on the reel. Good luck!
