Hi Andrew,

If you mean Classic Home Cinemas, the answer is yes.

I have never tried it James and yes CHC is shortened for Classic Home Cinema, do you find it is a decent cleaner and does it lubricate your films and film path as well as actually clean them.

Hi Andrew,

I think it`s brilliant I`ve been using it for a long time now, I always clean films before transfer, yes it lubricates cleans film & projector what more can I say, give it a try I don`t think you will be disappointed, and it`s not to expensive.
Regards,
James.

Yes, I may just do that James, as ordinarily I am a huge fan of Filmguard, however my Goko RM8008 doesn't seem to like it anywhere near its capstan roller!

Great stuff when used on projectors though with actual sprockets and shutter claws as opposed to prisms and a capstan drive only to drive the film through the machine.

Hi Andrew,

My Sankyo 2000H sprocket less uses rollers and a pull down claw,
never had any problems with it, give a go I think you will be pleasantly surprised. If you do try it let me know what you think.
Regards,
James.

Classic Home Cinema charge £8.00 for a 250cc bottle of Cresclean. Phil makes no comment about how much film can be treated with 250cc.

Hi All,

I find it lasts quite a while, A 250cc bottle lasts me about six months with regular use, I`ve never checked how much film it does I just keep cleaning till the cloth gets dirty, but it seems to go on & on.
Regards,
James.

I've used it and I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying it. However, be careful if you use it soon after making some tape splices on a print. I once did this and made the mistake of putting the 16mm film in a can. At least the splices near the outside then needed to be replaced.
