Triggered by a review of "Carrotblanca", I wanted to know what other modern short Cartoons (Warner Bros, Pixar, Disney) have ever been released. I have seen once at a member here, Terry Lagler (Canada)'s house "Tummy Trouble" and myself have "Roller Coaster Rabbit". Beside I have read here someone was selling "Trail Mix Up" .

Those new cartoons are quite funny because have different taste than the older Looney Tunes, Disneys or other cartoons made in 1930-1960s. My kids like them more because the cruel is crueler [Big Grin]

So what others are available?. The category must be from modern cartoon such as Looney Tunes gank (WB), "Ice Age" or "Pixar" gang and created at modern time (probably above 1980s). I don't want the list to grow up just because (e.g) someone is buying from CHC a year ago, but it is actually a new print from 1960s period.

So the current list is:

1. Roller Coaster Rabbit (1990)
2. Trail Mix-Up (1993)
3. Tummy Trouble (1989)
4. Carrotblanca (1995)
5. Box-Office Bunny (1990)
6. Gone Nutty (2002)
7. Boundin' (2003)
8. For the Birds (2000)
9. The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper (2005)
10. Knick Knack (1989)
11. One Man Band (2005)
12. Presto (2008)
13. The Chubbchubbs! (2002)
14. Partly Cloudy (2009)
15. A Grand Day Out (1989)
16. Early Bloomer (2003)
17. Luxo Jr. (1986)
18. Geri's Game (1997) This is an ultra rare items as the legend said the negative was destroyed accidentally before it made to public. However some test prints exist, and two members, Mark Mander and Kevin Clark say to have it. Check this thread #1 and thread #2

Can you add more? Thanks in advance for your valuable input.

ps: I am sorry if a similar topic has ever been discussed.

I have Box-Office Bunny (1990)

In this one a prefabbed multiplex is dropped on top of Bugs' home, and after he bursts through the floor he finds himself inside a movie theater, apparently right in the middle of a Sylvester Stallone flick!

Elmer the usher comes down the aisle to kick him out, and than Daffy sneaks into the theater (You can fill in the blanks!)

It is 16:9 but anamorphic, it is a little juddery too.

I think CHC released it, but I'm not sure. I got it off the Derann used list years ago.

Winbert, from your list, only the last two titles are "WB Looney Tunes". The first three are Roger Rabbitt cartoons from Disney.

Woow Panayotis, I don't know that....

Just because it is a rabbit, it doesn't mean Bugs Bunny [Big Grin]

But I like them both. Thanks for enlighten me.

Now I have changed the subject and what I wish to compile. Perhaps you can contribute?

I have one or two new cartoons from Phil in recent years.

1/ The Chub Chubs (sony imageworks)
2/ Partly Cloudy..another newish Pixar film.

And of course the controversial Derann release of the 600ft full length print of "A Grand Day Out".
Another fairly modern film.

Ahhhh!!!!.....

The print that dare not even be mentioned!

-officially they never existed!

Somewhere on this planet, there are almost certainly test prints for the other two as well. I was pretty broke at the time, but I would have sold a kidney to have the whole set!

What about "Early Bloomer"?

I have an early test print of this one. If I remember right Derann showed it at one of the conventions and then put in on the used list.

You may well be right Steve, but as far as I know and have ever heard, I don't know of a single print of "The Wrong Trousers" or "A Close Shave" sadly.

It would have been and indeed still would be fantastic if someone would release these on film!

Of course there weren't! [Wink] , [Wink]

The negatives were accidentally destroyed...simultaneously...all THREE of 'em!

I'm feeling a strange amnesia coming over me!

-and were YOU talking about Wallace and Gromit? I was talking about (umm) some other series of canine based claymation shorts!

-entirely different! [Wink]

I've NEVER seen "A Grand Day Out" and when I DIDN'T see it, the sound and image were spectacular!

There are very rare early prints of the Pixar short "Gerry's Game" which never had a full run.

-Shame, it's a neat little cartoon.

Great thread Winbert!
I have to say Knick Knack is by far the best short on the list in my opinion. The animation John Lasseter was doing at this time was incredible..and then Geri's game is the cat's meow.
The super 8 print of KK JUST sold on ebay UK, as mentioned:
