I picked up two items for what I think were fair prices, however there are parts that I need to replace. I probably should have researched this before picking them up, but too late.

The Goko G-1001 Editor is missing the cover for the lamp/light bulb. I tried van ecks but did not see it on there, so I emailed them. Any suggestions? I am ready to try to make something [Eek!]

The Nikon R10 eye piece is kind of ripped, I will try to post pictures. However I have read about a few people wanted to try to change the viewfinder's eye piece anyways. Any suggestions? Should I just try to get something to slide over the old one?

Many thanks in advance!

Hello Evan

I have lots of Goko spares so should be able to help you with your lamp cover - is it the inner metal one or the outer plastic one you are looking for? If you could post a picture of the editor on here it would be useful to help me identify the missing part.

Thanks Jim, seems kind of expensive for a viewfinder, but I have a bid on one on fleebay

Thank you Kevin! I was beginning to think I would have to buy a new editor [Eek!]

This is the best picture I could get for you at the moment. This is how the item that I have looks. It is missing the grill/cover that goes above the light bulb. This is my first editor. However from what I can tell this is the only piece missing. Please correct me If I am wrong

Hello Evan

I've found one amongst my Goko spares - this is a used lamp cover in excellent condition - you can have it for free just postage to pay. This works out at £5 for Air Mail or £9 for Airmail Signed For - sorry I can't find a cheaper postage option from the UK to USA. This is a picture of the cover:
