I have a kit where I changed the CXL/CXR bulb to LED I never have to change the bulb again, and it will not burn the film, if it should stop or get caught in the gate. Take a look at it on You tube video, put CXL/CXR led in the search. Let me know what you think, I use the same projector as you.

Myron thanks for posting this.

My questions:

- When you change to LED, the picture seems to be bluish. Is this because of the camera or film or LED indeed gives bluish impression?

- About the brightness with huge size image (not a small like your presentation) which one is brighter, LED or CXR/CXL bulb?

- Can we do this to EFR/EFP bulb type (MR16 - bowl shape with reflector)?

thanks
