I only have a couple of these that i bought from Roger Lily here in Plymouth of Movieland international many years ago, Volumes 2 and 5 plus a 200 footer all taken from the same series, these films are unbelievably good quality for there age, the sound is excellent, the pictures very Sharpe and above all the colours have all held up superbly. The images here were all taken with my cheapie digital camera during projection so unfortunately they really dont show them off very well,
My question is does anyone here have any listing of how many volumes there were actually released on super 8 and who is on them? My versions include,(among many others), Ray Price, Carl Smith, Marty Robbins, The Jordonairs,who became Elvis Presley's Backing group, The Carter Sisters, (June Cater went on the become Johnny Cash's wife), Little Jimmy Dickens & Webb Pierce.
The weird thing here is the images look red only because of the camera, the colours are actually very good.
